History

We can track our record back to two universities centered in Sheffield in the Nineteenth century.

These universities later combined with Sheffield Training Higher education and Sheffield Technological innovation Higher education to create Sheffield Polytechnic, which then became Sheffield Hallam School in 1992.

Students' Union

Hallam Partnership is a multi-award successful union with a wide variety of actions on offer which allow learners to make the most their time at university, and provide them with abilities and experience which will increase their degree and CV ready for graduation

There are more than 60 different cultures, from movie to tummy dancing, and more than 40 activities groups.

More than 700 learners are involved in Hallam Partnership helping out tasks, two of which recently won the popular Motivate Indicate for working with young people around the 2012 Olympics.
